It all began when I was in Belper, on making me , an Aquarius and according to the Chinese calendar a Monkey. I grew up in Derby and played football for Allestree Juniors FC from age 10 to 18.
I at the following schools and colleges: Portway Junior School, The Ecclesbourne School, St Benedicts Sixth Form and finally Mackworth College, now known as Derby College. I then left Derby to go to study at Staffordshire University in which I achieved a .
On July 22nd 2006 I got to my lovely wife at Newstead Abbey in Nottingham and truly had a day to remember before jetting off to Kefalonia for our honeymoon.
We then to to try and earn some bucks, but not before spending 3 months in Germany living in Frankfurt and then Dusseldorf.
Well, one thing which never fails to grab my attention is . There really is something special about entering an unknown culture for the first time and adapting to it. Travel gives me the chance to take time away, pick up a book, relax and enjoy. Some recent trips of note are Asia, Brazil, and New York as well as some more local ones like the World Cup Germany, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam and various other hops around Europe.
I love road trips and and have so many yet to do. The next ones on my list are Exit - Serbia, Sonar - Barcelona, Coyote Rally - Europe and the Winter Music Conference - Miami, so if your heading to any of these give me a shout and I'll see if I can make it. To date I have been to Glastonbury, Reading, V Festival, Global Gathering, Ozzfest, Wireless Festival, One Big Weekend.

I am learning the with Bill Collis and although I am not very good at it yet, really enjoy the challenge. I also play the guitar, although not so much now and used to be in a local Derby band called "Revolver" with Matt Blackwell, Dave Stone and Ben Nailor and wish them well with their new bands. Recording music is a big interest for me and one of my life goals is to cut a solo album where I play each instrument, record them and do the final mix down.
At the weekends I spend time with my wife discovering local parks, feeding the ducks and horses and generally enjoying the area where we currently live.
I've been entertained by the following Edward Scissorhands, Apsara Ballet, Carmen, Dorian Gray, Cabaret, Lord of the Rings, The Snowman, Grease, Zorro and the Thang Long Water Puppets. In case you were wondering, my favourite shows are Life on Mars, 24 and The Simpsons. My favourite are Sin City, the original Oceans Eleven and Jackie Brown and my favourite so far are Faithless, Above & Beyond, Aim, Gotan Project, Robert Plant, Linkin Park and Metallica.
I have worked for three major companies so far in my and have to date received 5 recommendations for my work. During my placement year at university I moved to High Wycombe to work for JohnsonDiversey as a web developer. After graduation I moved to London to work for Avanade as a web developer. I then joined Yamaha R&D to really focus on enhancing my web development skills and pitch myself as a yui developer specializing in ASP.NET MVC, YUI, XHTML and CSS.
